After trailing 1-0 after the 1st and giving up a second goal just 17 seconds into the 2nd, Notre Dame did not blink and fought back to not just cut the lead but tie the game heading to the 3rd period. Nicknamed "The Cardiac Kids" because of all of their comebacks, the Fighting Irish are fighting their way to play in a National Championship game. In this case, they knotted it up at 2-2 before the final stanza.
Michigan will certainly have something to say about that but the young Wolverines need to hold a lead if they are fortunate enough to get one again.
