When the Yankees acquired Giancarlo Stanton in December all anyone wanted to talk about was how great the Yankees middle of the line up was going to be with Judge, Stanton and Sanchez . Who no one was talking about was Didi Gregorius and hes not only off to as good of a start as anyone on the Yankees but he's off to as good of a start as anyone in baseball. Didi leads all of baseball in batting average and RBI's and is tied for the lead in Home Runs with Mike Trout. The Yankees Traded for Gregorius before the 2015 season he had major shoes to fill replacing Derek Jeter. In his first three years wit the Yankees he improved every year but in 2018 he is having a break out year making him one of the elite shortstops in the game and a serious contender to win the AL MVP.
