What a weekend of the bets!
Friday night after the Rob Dibble Show at the Mohegan, I slipped into the poker room for roughly 4 hours. While I was there, Chris Moneymaker sat down at our table. However, before we could dig in, he was repurposed at another higher dollar table. Yet, there were moments of potentially taking money from Chris Moneymaker and that was satisfying. I left the tables late Fri/Sat after my full donation to the reservation was paid.
Saturday was dreadful. Nothing went my way. I may have got a few college football picks right, but too few to mention. LSU!!! WHY!!!???
Sunday... Jets - Browns - Bengals!!! I feel dirty when I bet on the Browns as it is, but to add the Jets and Bengals was tough. I did it though and it paid big!
Sunday afternoon was also a winner with the horseys! Sometimes you hit on the first race you bet and never hit again. Sometimes you hit on the last race after never hitting all day. The day you want is the "I am never wrong" day. I stopped into Bobby V's for a few horsey bets before I played in a volleyball tournament. It was the final Sunday/VB/Horsey day of 2018. Well I was dry all Sunday afternoon. The last race, the last horse = Uncle Benny. Irad Ortiz Jr was riding. I had to throwdown hard. After a great late kick, Uncle Benny was getting hosed down in the winner's circle and I celebrated a decent weekend with the bets.
