The New York Jets were rumored to being open to trading down their pick. Ultimately they didn't like the offers they were getting, so as a consolation, they only drafted arguably the best player in the draft in Alabama's Quinnen Williams. Not a bad plan "B". With the emergence of Sam Darnold, for the first time in a LONG time, Gang Green can look at something besides drafting a QB. That and the addition of Le'von Bell, the Jets with limited amount of picks decided to go defense for this year's draft. Keep you're eye on EDGE rusher Jachai Polite from Florida. If developed well, can provide impact in the middle of the defense.
