I am a CFB Playoff hater. There are over 130 football programs who are technically eligible, but we know there are really only 20 or 30 teams with a legitimate chance. I think it is a crappy league that has less than 25% of its teams eligible to win. Unless there is a miracle Cinderella that goes unbeaten and the stars align with all Power 5 teams with 2-losses. Odds have to be 10,000 to 1 for 80+ teams. (So you're saying there's a chance!)
Here are the Cinderellas in FBS (as of 10/9/2019)
- M.WEST: #14 BOISE ST 5-0
- AAC: #21 SMU 5-0
- AAC: #23 MEMPHIS 5-0
- S.BELT: APP STATE 4-0
HERE ARE THE LONG SHOT POWER 5'S THAT STILL HAVE A SHOT
- ACC: #19 WAKE FOREST 5-0
- BIG12: #22 BAYLOR 5-0
- BIG10: MINNESOTA 5-0
Let's see how long the glass slipper stays on for these teams. I predict the clock strikes midnight on them all.
