Jason Smith and Mike Harmon react to the New York Knicks keeping their playoff hopes alive with a strong performance, forcing a Game 6 in their series against the Indiana Pacers. Jason explains why he's happy — but not too happy — while Mike shares why he believes this was a must-win, not just to avoid elimination, but to avoid being labeled as frauds.
Jason Smith:
"Something broke in me in Game 1, and when something breaks, you need time to fix it. So where am I right now? Yes, I’m extremely happy the Knicks extended. Now, you never know what can happen in Game 6, but they played really well, and I was happy they came out tonight and had great effort... I’m happy, but I’m more of the ‘OK, this was great — now don’t get too happy,’ because now we got to go for Game 6!"
Mike Harmon:
"If the Knicks had gone back to Madison Square Garden and gotten punked tonight by the Pacers, then they were all frauds the entire time. And I hoped they would show up with the physicality and effort of the ‘we are not going down like we just watched the Timberwolves.’"
